2014 has been eventful to say the least. After having photographed the sky and the clouds for a few years now, I have taken the leap to walk the path to an idea I had brewing for a few years: taking fine art photography to the sky, and do so without apparatus but skydiving. There is still a mountain to climb but I am on the right track and I hope to harvest the first photographs soon during 2015.
For those who wonder why of why jump? two quotes come to mind: first off, Andy Keech: “Man small, why fall, Sky call, That’s all.” In my case of course it would be Girl small.
The second one attributed to Leonardo: “Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been, and there you long to return.”
Therefore after following a double yellow line on the road – I am now following one on the sky.
